English As a Second Language and Citizenship

These classroom programs assist new arrivals of all nationalities to develop Basic English language skills while they become culturally oriented to the United States. Students are then assisted with pre-employment skills or referred to an appropriate regular community school or adult education program. The classroom uses a natural approach with everyday English, in a setting of bilingual support.
